Sharks and Rays of Plymouth Sound
This interactive workshop brings the world of sharks and rays into the classroom, showcasing the amazing species found in and around Plymouth Sound National Marine Park. From torpedo-shaped sharks to pancake-flat rays, some small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, each species is unique. Through quizzes, games and real shark artefacts, students explore the diversity of sharks, skates, rays and chimaeras, learning about their biology, life cycles, threats and how they can help protect these important species.
